What do I need to get started?
Your EASA Part-66 or FAA licence with all pages, your company authorisations and training certificates. To show recent experience, a confirmation from an employer you approve. For your identity, a copy of your passport or ID card with the number and date of birth blacked out. Everything goes through a secure upload link – never by email.
Who checks my documents?
SkyNet's own verifiers with background in continuing airworthiness, maintenance quality or authority oversight. A named verifier signs each result, led by our founder Ing. Thomas Ganster.
What happens to my documents?
You upload them through an encrypted link. The scans are deleted 30 days after the verification decision; SkyNet keeps the checklist result, the decision and a document fingerprint. Date of birth, address, nationality and health data are not recorded.
Will my employer see that I am in the pool?
No. Organisations only see anonymised profiles, and you name the organisations that must never receive yours – your current employer by default. We never contact your current employer for a confirmation unless you tick it; you can also bring the confirmation yourself.
How is my identity checked?
By comparing your name with a redacted copy of your ID document. Before any introduction, you complete a short online ID check – only with your explicit consent at that step.
Does a verification let me certify?
No. It confirms that evidence was checked – “Checked” means checked against the checklist for its type; “Confirmed” means also confirmed by the issuer, a previous employer or an official register, only with your consent. Certification privileges always come from the authorisation of the organisation you work for.
Is SkyNet exclusive?
No. You stay free to apply anywhere and to work with other agencies. Being in the pool commits you to nothing – you decide on every offer.
Can I use my verification report elsewhere?
Yes. You receive a copy of every signed verification report and can show it to any employer you like. It states exactly what was checked, how and when.
Which licences are covered?
EASA Part-66 licences from all member states, and FAA mechanic certificates with Inspection Authorization for N-registered aircraft – plus company authorisations, training certificates and NDT qualifications. Source confirmation depends on what each issuer can confirm; FAA certificates are confirmed against the FAA's public airmen register.
