Starting on March 26, in response to the high demand of business and tourism travelers, Avianca will increase its flight frequencies on the Bogota – Los Angeles route from four weekly frequencies to one daily flight.
This route will be operated with Boeing 787 aircraft with capacity for 250 passengers, 28 in Business Class and 222 in Economy Class. This aircraft allows a more efficient and environmentally friendly operation while offering greater comfort for passengers.

The implementation of a daily flight to Los Angeles allows Avianca to strengthen its offer of flights to the United States of America. The airline currently operates more than 135 frequencies between Colombia, Peru, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Honduras and Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Francisco and Washington.

Likewise, the airline increases its offer of connections to Asia or North America for passengers coming from Latin America through codeshare flights with United Airlines, connecting to Denver, Honolulu, Kona, Las Vegas, Kauai Island, Monterrey, Phoenix, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Seattle and San Francisco as well as with Eva Air to Taipei.

Also, travelers coming from Los Angeles will have access to multiple connections via Bogota to several Latin American capitals including Santiago de Chile, Sao Paulo, Lima and Quito.
